Welcome Back, SCS Students!
Our 2024-2025 school year is off to a wonderful start! After a morning of orientation, we headed to the little stone-house where the Co-op first began and enjoyed a bonfire lunch on Cheryl's lovely property. A history lesson was given by Cheryl herself, followed by painting and lettering in the stone-house. We all enjoyed the beautiful day and are excited to see what this year will bring!

SCS Graduation 2024
On June 7th, the feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, Olivia Lauren Pasia made history as the very first graduate of our Co-op! This special day began with a Solemn High Mass celebrated by Reverend Fr. Yves le Roux, our District Superior, and sung by the students of OLMCA.
The Graduation Ceremony followed, which began with a commencement address by Fr. Marcel Stannus, the Chairman of the Co-op. A number of beautiful pieces were then performed by the SCS Choir, and several wonderful speeches were given by Gr. 8 graduate, Dinah Sills, Gr. 12 Valedictorian, Olivia Pasia, Fr. Michel Rion, and the school principal, Mrs. Melissa Pasia. Most importantly, Dinah and Olivia both received their long awaited diplomas.
After many tears and much laughter, a hymn of thanksgiving was sung to close the ceremony. All those in attendance were then invited to enjoy a delicious luncheon and have a slice of Graduation Cake, designed and decorated by one of the SCS students, Aria Lobo. Thus ended a successful and fruitful academic year! Deo Gratias!

(Feast Day April 30th)
O marvellous gem of the Church, Seraphic Virgin, Saint Catherine, by your extraordinary virtue and the good you achieved for the Church and society, you are acclaimed and blessed by the whole world. O turn your generous countenance towards us who, confident in your powerful patronage, calls you with all the ardour and affection we have, supplicating that you obtain, through your prayers, the favours that we so ardently desire (state here what you desire or need*). You were a victim of charity so that, to benefit your neighbour you obtained from God the most astonishing miracles, becoming the joy and hope of all; you cannot cease to help, listening to the prayers of those who clamour to your heart – the heart that you received from the Divine Redeemer in celestial ecstasy. Yes, O Seraphic Virgin, demonstrate once more the proof of your power and of your resplendent charity, so that your name may always be most blessed and exalted. Grant us that, having experienced your most efficacious intercession here on earth, we may be able to one day give you our thanks in heaven, and enjoy with you eternal joy. Amen
*INTENTIONS:
